Just love the work of Saelee Oh and her website too! I spent a good while in her little worlds of wonder and enjoyed myself immensely! I know I've been gone a long time again. Life has taken over ... too many things on the home front going on! Too much housework and a teething baby! Meetings for kinder next year ( I'm on the fundraising commitee! ) and a broken down car! Some more sleep and calm this weekend would be wonderful!

An unintentional break from blogging in the last few weeks!!! Its been busy, busy, busy though and we've all been sick! I'm planning a Pirate Party for Drew's birthday and the weather has been great on the weekends so we have been heading down the road for lots of play time at the beach! We've also been working on ZENning our house to make it free of clutter and stuff we just don't need, which has been a very free-ing experience! Plus we've been working on our little courtyard and vegie patch too! I've finished my life coaching and career course which was amazing, so I feel like I've cleaned out my MIND too and have a clear direction to head in now! This time off has also made me think about my blog and what direction it should be heading in, there might be some surprising changes here too soon!

FOUND .... I've got a thing for British magazines and websites, must be hereditry ???!!! All my ancestors are mostly from the UK! And my Great, Great, Great, Great (not sure how many Greats?) Grandfather William brought our part of the family over to live in Tasmania on a ship called the Glory in the late 1800's with a wife and seven kids in tow ( Henry was born on the way over!), Wow , what a trip that would have been!!! I bet they would have loved some of the comforts of HOME way back then!

Having a big paper clean out this week!!! Magazines and piles of paper are growing on surfaces!!! Must de-clutter before they topple over! I look forward to the day I have my own studio where a little bit of clutter will be welcome! I would be quite happy painting in the room above found via LiquidSkyArts ! ( I think I have already posted this a few weeks ago, a little less cluttered ) And Oh to have a whole wall as an inspiration board ... loved this window by Anthropologie too!

When I am out and about on a walk to the beach or the river near my home I love to collect things and bring them home to a little bowl on my bookshelf. Its filled with seed pods and feathers, shells and leaves. I love their colours and shapes and my boys like to touch them and look at them too! Drew has just started his own treasure box too!
LUSH BELLA has taken this to a new and beautiful level with her beautiful prints of little collected things, she has even created a book to collect them all in called I SPY.
Other collections around our house at the moment include magazines, buttons, glass jars, books, tea cups and box of broken cups and plates ready for a mosaic. What do you collect???
I am also doing a fantastic course at the moment called Discovering Your Destiny, its all about knowing yourself and discovering purpose in your life and work. This week my wonderful teacher has set us the task of going out into nature ( on a buskwalk or to the beach etc), being quiet, alert and present, then watching and listening to see what it will say to us! I will let you know what I discover!

All day now I hear ..." Lets play hide and seek Mum!" or "You be Dora Mum and I'll be Boots!"or"Tell me a story Mum!" Its lots of fun, but sometimes I am asked every ten minutes and I tell you it helps to have a vivid imagination when a three year old is trying to create things all day! So today I dedicate to handmade toys ( and kids and their Mum's imaginations everywhere !)
